Russell Crowe waarschuwt paparazzi
Russell Crowe has warned the paparazzi to stay away from his wife, who is three-and-a-half months pregnant with their second child. He has expressed his concerns about Danielle Spencer's safety after paparazzi sprayed another Australian actor, Heath Ledger, with water on a red carpet in Sydney a fortnight ago.
Crowe revealed for the first time that the presence of paparazzi may have affected the birth of their first child:
"Danni was three weeks early last time; she gave birth just a few days after she was chased down the street by four photographers. Nobody cares, particularly the photographers; nobody cares to focus on what that is. She panicked, right, she was just walking down the street with her girlfriend, and they rushed her; four of them all surrounded her and stuff. So she panicked and slipped and all this sort of stuff. If I'd been there that would have been a really serious situation. I tell you right now, we can make a public announcement, they will be tarred and feathered if they hassle my pregnant wife again."
